Continuum is an immersive audiovisual composition that explores the layered structure of space and time on a cosmic scale. The piece visually reveals the temporal layers that lie behind the visible phenomena of the universe, illustrating that its processes are non-linear, existing and evolving across multiple time planes simultaneously. The formation and destruction of stars, the movement of galaxies, and the distorting effects of black holes are all part of this complex temporal flow, which transcends conventional human perceptions of time.
The installation presents the different layers of time as interconnected, showcasing the interplay of galactic events and the distortions of time itself. Viewers are offered a glimpse into the diversity of time scales, from the slow formation of nebulae to the explosive transformations of supernovae, and the curvature of spacetime caused by gravitational forces. These layers of time are not isolated but exist in constant interaction, suggesting that in the universe, time is not a linear progression but a dynamic, cyclically repeating structure that is continuously reshaping itself.
Continuum invites viewers to immerse themselves in the non-linear, layered nature of time, where past, present, and future intertwine.Through its visual elements, the installation evokes the slow formation and transformation of these time layers, conveying the vastness of
cosmic timescales. The work reflects on the relativity of time, demonstrating how the events of the universe, unfolding over billions of years, can be simultaneously perceived and felt as part of an interconnected spacetime continuum.
