We invite visionary creators specializing in full dome video projections,to submit their groundbreaking work for the “Chromosphere” touring exhibition.

CHROMOSPHERE is interested in offering to participants successful case stories that can open the minds to the various aspects of Fulldomes, Audio Visuals Performing Arts and Green Deal.
CHROMOSPHERE offers every Lecture 60 minutes.
Chromosphere is a Fulldome experience traveling through Europe, showcasing the dynamic fusion of art and technology through the magic of immersive experiences. Mission of the event is to raise awareness about the European Green Deal while infolding gender equality, aiming to utilize the immersive and captivating nature of full dome projections to engage audiences in thought-provoking reflections on pressing global concerns such as Green energy, and climate change. The program will both address children and grown ups meaning that content designed for kids will be also very welcomed.
This exciting journey will span across five diverse cities in five different EU countries, hosted by important local festival producers such as , Athens Digital Arts Festival (GR), Flyer New Media (IT), Patchlab Festival- Photon Foundation (PL), Főnix Event Organizer (HU), AADN-Arts et Cultures Numériques (FR), Asociatia Art Mirror (RO). The exhibition will tour with each presentation strategically scheduled in distinct seasons offering unique experience in various cultural landscapes.
Take under consideration:
- Video files should have a minimum duration of 5 minutes and be formatted for full dome projection.
- The film must have been released not earlier than March 30th 2023
- Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.
- Artworks designed for kids are welcome there are two categories for submission Video and Kids video.
- Submissions must be accompanied by a brief artist statement (maximum 300 words) that provides context and insight into the conceptual framework of the work.
- Submissions must be accompanied by a short biography or artist CV.
- Both commercial and non-commercial productions can be admitted (corporations, students, independent and freelance producers)
- As we need a preview of your film. Please upload a demo video with the application
- The work will be included in all 5 events of Chromosphere
- Producers whose show gets confirmed for screening are invited to send in a simple 1 minute video clip, introducing their film and the production team. The video will be posted on the Chromosphere Festival social media in order to promote the program
Requirements
- Resolution: minimum 4K (4096×4096 pxs),
- Codec: mp4 h.264,
- Audio: stereo/quadro or 5.1
- Duration: 5-20 min
- Release: not earlier than March 30th 2023
- Every sound file must be an extra file! The sound files must be 0 – based. It’s necessary that they are synchronized with the video file! Stereo or 5.1 surround (L/R/C/LFE/Ls/Rs) in uncompressed WAV format,16-bit, 48 kHz (single files! One file with 2 or 5 single channel is not allowed).
- The Sound Filenames has to be identical to frame filenames according to the scheme above („MyWork_C.wav“, „MyWork_L-wav“, etc.). The sound must begin with the first frame. Spatial sound (single lines): unsqueezed multitrack (max. 24) audio 48 kHz, 16 bit or 24 bit.All tracks shall be supplied as uncompressed single channel WAV files, consecutively numbered. Maximal Version of Fraunhofer Spacial Sound Wave Version 4.3.

There is no registration fee in any submission category.
